Slovenia (HI Slovenia), Belgium (LAJ), Estonia (HI Estonia), Switzerland (SYH), Spain (REAJ), Finland (HI Finland), Portugal (Pousadas de Juventude), Macedonia (HI Macedonia), Scotland (SYHA) and Denmark (Danhostel) got involved in the campaign.

Launched a photo contest! Moreover, they involved two hostels which had special programs for 1 December 2014:
Youth Hostel Celje: During the Hostel tour the myths and legends of the hostel, that have connection with history and local legends of the city was told. After the tour a presentation of old medieval fighting in front of the hostel was organized, where guests had a chance to see or even try to become a knight for a moment.
Youth Hostel Marenberg - Radlje ob Dravi: The European Tourism Day was held in the form of presentations of European countries by Mladinski Kulturni Center (Youth Culture Centre), which is a part of the Youth Hostel Marenberg - Radlje ob Dravi. The event presented diverse free programs, which enabled people to travel, taste and feel Europe. European inspired program of travel lectures, culinary events, language courses and diverse artistic and crafting workshops were also in place.
Spanish youth hostel association (REAJ) sent an announcement to all 265 hostels encouraging them to participate at the campaign. REAJ developed a special contest on their website: people had to write their favourite city in Europe and the name of the closest HI Hostel to visit it. The winners got two HI Membership Cards and two travel insurances so they could enjoy them in their next trips to their favourites European cities. Furthermore, the winner had the chance of choosing two of other prizes:
The contest was also promoted in social media, using the hashtag #ILoveTravellingInEurope. In addition, REAJ sent a press release to Spanish media with all the information about the campaign.
Other national associations published the information on the campaign on their websites, social media sites and engaged in other activities with hostels' guests.
